Is there any emotion you haven’t expressed yet this year? Perhaps you can think of one or two that you thought about expressing, but wisely didn’t. I’ve had one … or more … of those. As one meme said recently,
I’m sick and tired of playing nice. It’s time for rope, duct tape, and a shovel.
Hoping you giggled at that and didn’t gasp. You probably giggled. Otherwise you wouldn’t be reading my work as you know I’m not your grandfather’s idea of a minister.
Joking and levity aside, our lives can suck right now if we allow it to be so. Even those of us with what we thought was unshakeable faith can succumb to doubt at times.
It’s time to stop pretending our hopes are faith.
You and I can’t pray or treat or cast a spell and then hope it happens. We must expect it. In the words of one of my mentors, Rev. Dr. Vetura Papke, “I’m never surprised when treatment works. I expect results and I get them.”
We mustn’t lose hope in these times, but let’s never confuse hope with faith. Our faith is the assured expectation that our words have power and that divine mind has already acted upon those words – even though the evidence is not standing in our living room.
It’s time to get a grip. In fact, for some of us it’s past time. If you’re faith is lacking, borrow some of mine. After this past week I’ve got an abundance to share until you can find yours again. If you need more than that, return to your base foundational teachings whatever they are. Listen to inspiring talks or lectures. Seek out whatever you need to return you to that powerhouse of faith, joy, and happiness that is YOU.
Spiritual Mind Treatment for the Week of October 11, 2020
Living fearlessly doesn’t mean living without fear. It means living beyond fear.
Let the words below be your words if that feels right for you.
There is one power. That power is my personal expression of a higher power. That power created me out of a desire to express an idea of empowerment. I am that which desire made manifest.
I am a product of divine mind. I possess within me all intention and strength necessary to direct my thoughts into action. Spirit does not entertain fear. God know no limits. Divine intelligence has no need to question. All of those qualities of confidence are attributes of my existence.
I release what I think of as the past. I refuse to accommodate the useless act of anxiety about the future. I stand firm in the faith of God – not the faith in God, but the faith OF God. I know Spirit is already creating the perfect outcome for these words. I give thanks and appreciation for my ability to accept that which is already mine. And So It Is.
