Do you have the life you want? It’s been said that the life we have is the one we think we deserve, not necessarily the life we say we want.
This concept is not about blaming ourselves for not achieving goals or in any way to indicate we are not enough. It does, however, remind us of the responsibility to direct our own lives.
It’s only by determining our priorities that we accomplish anything in life. This goes for finishing a graduate degree as well as washing the dirty dishes in the sink. By diving headfirst into any project, you and I can be assured that we will accomplish what we set out to do, but only when we are steadfast without exception to our intention.
There are many people in the world who pride them in multi-tasking. It’s impossible to multi-task and still be focused. We can get a whole lot more done by doing an amazing job on one thing at time, rather than a little of this, and a little of that, and ending up with six different unfinished projects.
During this pandemic we have so many unanswered questions and are faced daily with uncertainty in the news. Rather than worrying all day about those issues, we can use this time to stay informed, but not focus constantly on the problems at hand. Instead we can envision the life we know we deserve.
Only then can we be of service to others to the extent we are capable.
Spiritual Mind Treatment for the Week of July 27, 2020
Let the words below be your words if that feels right for you.
Our main business is not to see what lies dimly at a distance, but to do what lies clearly at hand.
Spirit conceives an idea. Through universal law the thought creates form. Spirit expressed itself uniquely through me. I am that Spirit.
Joy fills my heart as I speak this word for the wonderful life I live. My body is healthy and working in divine right order. My abundance is made manifest in ever-increasing and innovative ways. My relationships are so perfectly suited for my consciousness that I could burst with appreciation and love.
The life I live is the life I envision. I give such immense thanks that divine wisdom knows exactly how to manifest the thoughts I entertain. I do my part by taking the next step I am moved to take. I follow my intuition and wait in excited anticipation of the unfoldment of my perfect life. I release these words to that universal intelligence, as I allow it to show off in my life. And So It Is.
