How Are You Spending Your Days?

Do you have enough time to accomplish all you’d like?

We can over plan our day or week, attempting to get far more done than is physically possible. It becomes very easy to focus on what we cannot do because of a preconceived lack of time.

As I write this, we are living in the era of the COVID-19 virus. If we are self-isolating with or without family the temptation exists to complain about not being able to come and go as often as we have in the recent past.

Because of the situation, many of us have more time on our hands now than we’ve had in a very long time. You and I can choose to utilize that time wisely. Instead, the severity of our situation and seeking out non-stop news can cause us to fall into despair or anger … or both.

As you and I know, what we focus on increases. Without attempting to be a “pink cloud metaphysician,” COVID-19 is providing additional time at home since that is exactly where many of us are spending most of it.

As Goethe says below, we have the choice to jump headlong into the present. The coronavirus pandemic will be over, ideally sooner than later, but in the meantime let’s use this additional time at home to productively and happily enjoy our present.

Spiritual Mind Treatment for the Week of April 20, 2020

Plunge boldly into the thick of life and seize it where you will.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

There is one power moving through, as, and in everything. The universal force chose to express itself as me. I am that power.

I speak this word knowing my word is powerful and constructive. I choose to take advantage of the moment. I am mindful of all I see, hear, smell, and touch. The words I speak, as well as the thoughts I think, are those I wish to use to increase the good, the love, the healing, and the prosperity of all those around me.

This day is unlike any other in so many minute and precious ways. I relax into the awareness of the opportunities I have to experience love and express love. As I continue giving these qualities, I know they are reflected back to me in abundance.

I give thanks as I release these words into universe for divine right action in my life. I am blessed, and as I live today, I bless everyone and everything I see. And So It Is.
