Want to Know How to Start 2020?

Are you exhausted from the holidays? The holidays can be exciting and full of love; or, they can be one huge pain in the ass.

The holidays, like the rest of life, are what we make of them. And, the same thing always follows them: A brand new year ahead.

Some people make New Year’s Resolutions. You may have already done that. There’s another way to tackle the new year: See it as a clean slate, one that is unencumbered by 2019 or any year before it.

The past can be a real stumbling block on our path to happiness. I used to believe that I had to understand why events in my life had happened – either the ones I judged as good or the ones I considered bad.

There may be some personal satisfaction for the ego to know why, although all too frequently (as when the ego is involved), we seek the explanation to absolve us of guilt by blaming someone else for our foibles.

Remembering the past is useful if we learn from it – both the mistakes and the successes. In Divine Mind there is only the now, the present. We cannot move forward in life while staring at the past. Here’s what is important. What we want now. What do you want your life to look like on December 31, 2020?

Give up your desires to Spirit, who knows infinitely better how to manifest our wants, needs, hopes, and dreams than we might. Start there, and today, take the first step to start on your way.

May 2020 be the best year yet in your life!

Spiritual Mind Treatment for the Week of January 6, 2020

Living in the past is a dull and lonely business; looking back strains the neck muscles, causes you to bump into people not going your way. –  Edna Ferber

There is one Power. That Power is God. It created me perfectly and uniquely to express life. I am the Power of God.

I speak this word as I begin my journey into the new year. I see my path clearly. My intention is clear. My mind is clear. There is perfect clarity in God and that clarity is mine.

I appreciate my past experiences and look ahead to the blessings already manifested in the Mind of God. But I live fully and completely in the present. I recognize and acknowledge the people in my life today. I take time right now to notice my surroundings and appreciate the many gifts they have to offer.

I give thanks for my present consciousness. I know with certainty that Divine Mind knows exactly how to fulfill all my needs and desires. I release this word into the universe for manifestation now. And So It Is.
